San Rafael Rock Quarry Assisting in Emergency Work

Due to the recent storms, The San Rafael Rock Quarry will be supplying rock for an emergency levee repair in Novato, CA. The California Dep. of Fish & Wildlife has declared the work urgent and life threatening, so SRRQ will be exercising the Emergency Response provisions of its permit, effective immediately.

The work is to begin on Wednesday, January 11th, and is expected to continue daily to Saturday the 14th. The San Rafael Rock Quarry will have a truck marshal present during all hours of operation to ensure truck driver regulations are upheld. 

UPDATE 1/16/17: This work was completed on time, and without issue. The hours of operation outside of normal business hours totaled to 18.5, with a total of 77 truck loads leaving the quarry.
